The inner wing is the living space of the wives. A fancy mattress, an armrest, a resting cushion and a long pillow were placed on the lower part of the room, while cush- ions were placed on the upper side of the room for guests. Among the furniture pieces were a stationery chest and an open square book chest. Folding screens were placed around the mattress and a candlelight was in a corner of the room for lighting.
